Michael Carson Award for Excellence in TV Drama Production

In 2006 director Michael Carson was to receive an ADG Accreditation Award for Excellence at the annual ADG Dinner. Sadly, he passed away prior to his award being presented, so this Award has been renamed in his honour. It recognises excellence in the craft of television drama direction.

The 2007 recipient of the Michael Carson Award is Peter Andrikidis, one of the most prolific television directors working today, whose credits include Wildside, Heroes' Mountain, BlackJack and The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant.
