The Australian Screen Directors Authorship Collecting Society (ASDACS) is a non-profit organisation which collects, administers and distributes monies for film and television directors that arise from certain rights conferred on them by the national legislation of certain countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and other European countries.

ASDACS was established by the Australian Directors Guild (formerly ASDA) to collect the European royalty income and was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in November 1995.  A similar organisation AWGACS has been established to collect the screenwriters' share of this income, and Screenrights (formerly Audio Visual Collecting Society) collects the producers' share.

ASDACS has over 330 members.  It has affiliations with the community of collecting societies across three continents and also acts on behalf of New Zealand directors and expatriates.

ASDACS is a member of the Australian Copyright Council, the Copyright Society of Australia and the International Association of Audiovisual Writers and Directors (AIDAA), a non-governmental organisation regularly consulted by institutions of the European Union, UNESCO and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).

ASDACS is an active contributor and signatory to the Australian Collecting Societies’ Code of Conduct.
